Israeli Settler Violations — June 2026
Published by the Palestinian Farmers Union (PFU), this report documents an unprecedented escalation in settler attacks against Palestinian farmers during June 2026, recording 1,877 violations targeting agricultural land, water resources, livestock, and infrastructure. The violence resulted in the destruction of 16,576 trees (including 6,780 mature olive trees), denial of access to more than 47,000 dunums of farmland, the theft of 378 sheep, and over $23 million in direct losses affecting 322 farmers. Violations were concentrated in Hebron, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Jenin, Salfit, Nablus, and Tulkarm, and the report includes two field case studies from Sinjil and Umm Safa. It concludes with PFU's calls for urgent international intervention, accountability for perpetrators, targeted sanctions, and a ban on settlement product trade.
Protection Risk Assessment in the West Bank
This report, published by the Palestinian Agricultural Relief Society, examines the protection situation in the West Bank based on a survey of 201 respondents and 47 in-depth interviews conducted in February 2026 across 11 governorates. It documents the escalating patterns of settler violence, occupation forces' violations, forced displacement, and movement restrictions, and their cumulative impact on the stability of Palestinian communities — particularly in Area C and Bedouin communities — with the aim of supporting evidence-based interventions and strengthening international accountability.
"Wisdom of the Land": Global Report Documents the Role of Local Communities in Protecting Land and Climate
The report "Wisdom of the Land," published by the International Land Coalition (ILC), presents twelve case studies from around the world documenting how Indigenous Peoples, pastoralists, small-scale farmers, and local communities work to protect their territories and strengthen biodiversity through traditional ecological knowledge and community-led governance systems. Among these case studies, the Arab Agronomists Association (AAA) contributed a case study from Palestine, highlighting the experience of the Kafr Jamal Agricultural Cooperative in the Wadi Al Shami valley, Tulkarem, which combined traditional farming knowledge with wastewater treatment technologies to restore farmland and strengthen food security for over 6,000 residents amid challenges posed by restrictive land policies and industrial water pollution.
